Calm & Chaos Sensory Wellness Hub Participation Disclaimer & Waiver of Liability By booking or attending a session at Calm & Chaos Sensory Wellness Hub (“the Hub”), you (“the Participant” and/or “the Responsible Adult”) acknowledge and agree to the following: 1. Assumption of Risk Participation in sensory, physical, and recreational activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to minor injuries (e.g., cuts, bruises), slips, falls, or accidental contact with equipment. By entering the premises, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation. 2. Supervision Children under 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a Responsible Adult at all times. The Responsible Adult accepts full responsibility for the safety, conduct, and supervision of any minors in their care. 3. Medical Conditions Participants with medical conditions that may be affected by physical activity, UV/strobe lighting, or sensory equipment should seek medical advice before taking part. The Hub must be informed of any relevant medical, behavioural, or accessibility needs prior to the session. 4. Safety Equipment Where safety equipment is provided (e.g., goggles, protective gear for Chaos Smash/Nerf activities), it must be worn and used correctly. Failure to use safety equipment or follow staff instructions is done at your own risk. 5. Liability Waiver To the fullest extent permitted by law, Calm & Chaos Sensory Wellness Hub, its staff, and affiliates accept no responsibility for: Injuries, accidents, or medical issues arising from participation. Loss or damage to personal belongings. Participants waive the right to bring any claim against the Hub in respect of such matters, except where caused by proven negligence of the Hub or its staff. 6. Behaviour & Conduct Disruptive, aggressive, or unsafe behaviour will result in immediate termination of the session without refund. Deliberate damage to equipment or property may result in additional charges. 7. Acknowledgement By booking or attending a session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this disclaimer. You agree that you and those in your care participate entirely at your own risk.
